Riggs
We have taken our 1st phonogram assessment on phonograms 1-26. This will be their starting point towards mastery.
We will take a test on phonograms 27-71 the beginning of the week to also mark a starting point towards mastery.

Spelling
We are continuing with list 3 this week.
As a list is mastered, it will be added to this page for reading fluency. All spelling practice will take place in the classroom as knowledge of the phonograms and rules would be necessary to correctly practice spelling at home.
Math
Weekly class average: Time: 10:32 correct problems: 31
We are beginning Unit 3- Addition
Timed Math test every Friday, with a goal of 49 problems in 3 minutes.
Our test this week will include both addition and subtraction.
Literature
We will review Thumbelina then read and discuss Tom Thumb & Issun Boshi

This week we will learn about Deciduous Forest and Tropical Rainforest
Geography/History
September Unit: Geography: Maps and Globes
We will continue learning about the 7 continents, Antartica and North America. We will then move into landforms.
